Notarized Translation Certification and Company Stamp Certification: What's the Difference?
Notarized translation certification is required for submitting documents to official government agencies in Russia and abroad, educational institutions, embassies, consulates, FMS, civil registry offices, Ministry of Internal Affairs, courts, as well as for visa processing, residence permits, citizenship, adoption, inheritance, and other legally significant procedures.
With notarized certification, the notary certifies the accuracy of the translation, the signature, and the qualifications of the translator. This is an official confirmation with legal force in Russia and abroad.
The cost of notarized translation certification is 1000 rubles per document, regardless of the number of pages.
Certification with a translation bureau stamp costs 100 rubles and is suitable for submitting documents to commercial organizations, private educational institutions, and companies where notarized certification is not required.
